Learning to see
It is cliche, but "teaching how to fish" best describes Dmitry's teaching style. I could feel that there were moments when he wanted to directly point out how to improve the design problems, but he definitely wanted the students to identify the problems themselves and to struggle to enhance them. I believe this allowed the students to come up with even more unique and creative solutions. Also,
such approach taught me how to give and receive constructive feedback.
